Artistic Director The LAB

Interdisciplinary artist and director Kate St-Pierre is most recognized for her versatility. Kate has recorded for multiple film scores and soundtracks. The original singer for Le Reve at the Wynn, Kate was also the singer for Cirque Du Soleil's “Ka”. Kate has toured extensively, performed at the Coachella Music Festival and her voice and composition were nominated in 2004 for the NY Drama Desk Award for Music.

A member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, Kate directed “Disgraced” by Ayad Akhtar in Jan 2016 and “The Whipping Man” by Matthew Lopez in Spring of 2015 both for TBS in Las Vegas.  Kate directed Bluegrass band, Tin Toy Cars’ first music video, Do Everything You Can Before You’re Dead, released in March 2016. In October 2016, Kate directed “The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity” by Christopher Diaz at CTC, Art Square Theatre. The Pulitzer nominated play was nominated for 4 Vegas Valley Awards including Best Production, Best Ensemble and won for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

The Artistic Director of The LAB LV; Interdisciplinary Experimental Theatre Company, Kate directed the award winning, immersive, site specific “Iphigenia 2k16”, declared one of the top 3 theatrical productions; “Best of Theatre 2016” by the Las Vegas Weekly. Antigonick, Anne Carson's Antigone, dir by Kate, was The LAB's second site specific ensemble work and was performed to a huge crowd on the steps of Las Vegas City Hall at dawn on the Summer Solstice, June 2017. In Spring of 2017 Kate was honored to be the soloist/performer for White Rabbit Red Rabbit. In fall of 2017 Kate directed Schoenberg's masterpiece, the dissident opera, Erwartung for a collaboration between Sin City Opera and CTC.

Kate just directed for CTC a stellar all women cast, tech and design team in the Pulitzer nominated play, The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe. Kate is grateful to be granted one of the first licenses to direct the brilliant script outside of NY. The acclaimed 3 week sold out run opened Feb 1 in Las Vegas.

Kate is an Artist in Residence with the Nevada Arts Council, Member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab and an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).

Artistic Director Choreographer Magical Madness Dance Theatre

Anastasia Weiss found her love for dance at the age of 3. She received training in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. She went on to earn her BFA from UNLV in dance choreography and performance. Training with master teachers from Alvin Ailey, Hubbard Street, Garth Fagon and Mia Michaels. Performing in works of renowned choreographers to include Kema Jamal, Cathy Allen, Randy Duncan, Charmaine Hunter, Greg Sample, Cirque Du Soleil performers, Kurt Stamm, and Minh Tran. While in college she also discovered the magic of theater and went on to work with some Las Vegas born theater companies including “BNTA” and “Cockroach Theater”, while also dancing for Best Agency. Anastasia Weiss is the creator and artistic director for Magical Madness Dance Theater. The Vegas born modern contemporary dance company was created in 2013 from Anastasia’s dream of creating magical theatrical pieces of dance. With Magical Madness Anastasia has created pieces of choreography for “Small Space Fest LV”, “Downtown Podcast”, “Dare to Dance Seattle”, “The Discovery Children’s Museum Gala”, “The Connect Effect”, “Las Vegas Bellydancing Intensive”, “Create 4”, First Fridays Downtown LV, and more. Magical Madness also has a YouTube channel where they create short dance films and are currently in the process of creating a mini series. Anastasia loves to share the gift of dance and has been teaching for over 10 years. Not only does she run the dance program at Doral Academy Red Rock Middle and Upper School, but she also teaches children and young adults at Soulfire Dance Studios and is also a Disney Teaching Artist for The Smith Center.Her most recent work was seen in “The Seven Deadly Sins” a collaboration piece between Cockroach Theatre and Sin City Opera.  

Actor, Director

Stig Zeiner (MA RADA) is an award winning performer with more than 15 years of professional experience as an interdisciplinary actor, artist, director and professor from venues world wide.

Stig spent his youth performing in musical theatre productions with a youth ensemble (BBT) performing for thousands until he ’retired’ at the age of 18.

After a year of service as a corporal in His Majesty’s Royal Guard, Stig pursued his acting career by graduating the acting program at The Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio in Oslo.

After graduating a highly competitive program with honours, Stig enjoyed a highly successful career as an actor, musical theatre performer and dancer which included roles with major institutions in productions like ’Les Miserables’ - Oslo New Theatre, ‘Dead Beat Escapement’- The National Opera and Ballet and the title role of ‘Peer’ in Ibsen’s Peer Gynt at the National Theatre which toured internationally through countries like Sweden, India, China.

Stig since wanted to explore his own artistic voice which led him to graduate with a masters in devising theatre from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
He went on to co-create several groups (Improv Neuf International, 16:9) and to perform with the internationally acclaimed theatre troupes ‘The Theatre of Cruelty’ and ‘Theatre Joker’ which specialised in devising ensemble pieces based on expressive physical forms of theatre. This has led him to tour to perform throughout the world, (Norway, USA, Iran, China, India, France, Italy UK, Poland, Japan, West Africa ++).

Throughout his performative career, Stig has held workshops for participants ranging in experience from full-fledged professional performers of interdiciplinary arts , to children ranging in ages 8-18. (BBKS, OKS)

Stig’s long and exciting career also includes a successful career as an actor for film/TV, with projects for companies like Disney, Hotel Caesar, Union Film.
It also includes extensive work as a Motion Capture Artist (Funcom), Voice Artist (Disney, Nordubb++) and several national commercials (McDonalds, Betsson, Telenor)

Stig recently moved to Las Vegas for the birth of his first child with ‘Absinthe’ performer and clown Kasey Wilson.


Actor, Director

A professional actor for more than 30 years, Marcus Weiss has worked extensively in theater, film, television, radio, and voice-overs across the country and in Europe.  Some of his favorite screen credits include Life Is Beautiful, The Trust, All My Children, 21, and Scrubs.  Born in New York and raised in Switzerland, Marcus received a B.A. in Drama from Dartmouth College and an M.F.A. in Acting from Temple University. While working as an original cast member of Blue Man Group Las Vegas, Marcus simultaneously performed for the world-renowned improvisation and sketch comedy show, The Second City for over 7 years.  A former clown in Le Rêve--The Dream at The Wynn, Marcus is a back-up clown for O at The Bellagio. Having performed and directed for many prominent Las Vegas companies (Nevada Conservatory Theatre, The LAB LV, A Public Fit, and Cockroach Theatre), Marcus received particular critical acclaim for his starring role in the Las Vegas premiere of Hedwig and The Angry Inch, winning a Best Actor nod from The Las Vegas Review-Journal. Marcus has taught improvisation for The Second City Training Center and countless classes and workshops in acting, movement, voice, and speech for students of all ages. When not onstage, Marcus is a Teaching Artist for The Smith Center For The Performing Arts’ Disney Musicals in Schools and Southern Nevada Wolftrap programs, an original, core faculty member of the Las Vegas Performing Arts Initiative, an adjunct faculty member of Acting and Improvisation in the Theatre Department of The College of Southern Nevada, a former teacher and director for The Adelson Educational Campus, and an instructor in Cirque Du Soleil’s Arts Nomade program. In between it all, Marcus enjoys juggling his family life, which includes his lovely wife, Anastasia and two nutty kids, Jacob and Lukas. 

Circus Artist, Choreographer

Karl, a veteran of Cirque du Soleil, is a dancer, choreographer, character actor, and master teacher for creative movement.

Karl studied dance at the Juilliard School and received his Bachelors of Arts in Performing Arts from

St. Mary's College of California

He toured extensively with the MOMIX dance company

With Cirque du Soleil he performed in five shows:

Over a 20 years period he performed in the productions of

MystereQuidamDelirium, KA and Kooza and also taught character movement workshop to the artists.

He worked for Steven Spielberg's “The Adventures of TinTin"

as movement consultant and motion capture artist

He also appeared on the Rosie O Donell Show and the Tonight Show. His credits include the I-Max film ImagineFX2,

the music video for Aerosmith’s Jaded 

and the british film “Attack the Block” 

 On occasion he played Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream at the North Carolina Shakespeare festival.
